>>The combat ended, and soon she was once again exploring the dense jungle. Just as she came to a fork in the road, the screen blurred and she was attacked again. It was another one of the black beasts, but it was alone, and was easily dispatched. She found herself back on the map. Following the road to the east, she came upon a large clearing. As she entered, the characteristic blur brought her characters back into the combat screen.<<

BARANI : This could go on for a while .

>>Again, no damage. When Yuffie's fire attack also did nothing, she began to be concerned, but not overly, as she figured it must just be a cutscene battle. She continued having her characters attack, for good measure, but there was no change in damage or in the creature. Suddenly, it moved. An attack box appeared at the top of the screen, saying "Prepare". The monster grabbed Tifa and held her eye level to itself. Her arms flailed in the air as it's other claw came up and began shaking what appeared to be salt onto her body. "This is new..." Christie muttered.<<

CAMERON : "This is weird ...." Cameron frowned .

>>The attack stopped, simply leaving Tifa dangling from the monster's 'hand'. Christie began attacking again, casting her spells and hoping that would make it let go of Tifa. It simply shrugged off her attacks, however, as Tifa struggled in what appeared to be the video-game equivalent of panic.
 Suddenly inspiration struck it's lash against Christie's brain, and she unleashed a SCAN spell. [ Duamutef Was Here ] [HP 82,956,872] [Immune to Fire] [Immune to Poison] [Immune to Ice] [Immune to Everything Else]<<

AI : Can you even HAVE that much HP in FF7 ? And who the hell is Duamutef ?

>>Christie raised an eyebrow at this latest message. Perhaps this was one of those playtesting monsters that they forgot to get rid of... She was snapped from her reverie as the beast attacked again. This time, the attack box said "Eat". It suddenly opened it's mouth wide and tossed Tifa in. A small bulge travelled down it's throat before dissappearing.<<

BARANI : Oh , just REJOYCE at the details .

>> Christie looked rather surprisedly at this. "Whoa." A scarce moment later, the scene changed. She was no longer looking at her two remaining characters fighting the monster, but rather, she was looking at an odd sort of cave. It was rather small, and the walls continually shifted. It was still polygonal, unlike most of the backgrounds in the game. She looked at it for a moment, trying to figure it out. It was an odd, purplish-red color, and didn't look much like rock. As she watched, Tifa suddenly appeared, squeezing into the cave from one side. Watching the movement and the accompanying squishing and groaning noises, it suddenly dawned on her. "Crap! They're showing me it's stomach!"<<

CAMERON : .... Whatever direction I THOUGHT this story was going in .... I .... I'm speechless .
AI : Someone woulda haveta have been REALLY bored to write something like this .

>>As though to confirm her theory, a box appeared at the top of the screen. [ STOMACH ACID ] Small droplets oozed from the cieling and along the walls, damaging Tifa. When her action box appeared, Christie clicked on 'Attack'. Tifa beat her fists and kicked against the top of the stomach, but to no effect. [ CHURN ] The walls began to slither all around her character, squeezing her and causing even more damage. She was down to only a third of her hit points. She click on Cure3.<<

KASUMI : Wow , on disk one and with Cure 3 already ? I'm impressed !!

>> [ Can't cast spells here! ] "Fuck! Then what am I supposed to do?" Of course, she got no response. [ CHURN ] More hit points were lost as Tifa squirmed against the polygonal digestive organ. "This is totally gross."<<

KASUMI : That always makes me laugh , how no-one ever dies in FF games , they just get 'wounded' instead . "Oh , Cloud's dead , should we arrange his funeral ? Oh , no , wait , he's just 'wounded' . Sorry , my mistake . Even though he's perfectly motionless , a strangely named item will bring him back as right as rain . Unless it's vital to the plotline that he die . Then he's helpless ."

>>"Fuck." Expecting the game to end, Christie was surprised as the battle continued. With a sudden squeeze, Christie was watching Tifa being pushed through a set of polygonal intestines. "This is so WIERD..."<<

AI : This is so DISGUSTING ...

>>A while later, she came to a dead end and had to head back. As she crossed the clearing the second time, she noticed something that hadn't been there before. It was greyish-brown and very wet looking, and was simply in some sort of pile.<<

KASUMI : Reminds me of the time I fought a boss in FF7 , and it killed everyone exept for Cloud .. without healing , I rushed off to the nearest save point , but before I got there , I was killed in a random battle . I was SO pissed off , I'd been trying to beat that boss for AGES ...

KASUMI : I was going to say 'eeriliy realistic for a video game' but then I remembered just what was happening , and I realised that that wasn't exactly true .

>>[ SWALLOW ] Yuffie's head was pulled in this time, leaving the lower half of her shoulders dangling out of Aeris' mouth. Her legs started kicking at the ground. Christie tried to cast a spell. [ Cannot cast spells ] "Grrrr!" She merely attacked again, to no effect. [ SWALLOW ] Aeris grabbed Yuffie by the ass and started shoving her in.<<

CAMERON : I guess that one last sentance could sound vaguely sexual . Let's concentrate on that one last sentance . Or , better still , we could just shoot ourselves now , that might be a better idea .
